Rugged Tablet PC Reference Design for DMS
Unlike consumer-grade products, rugged tablets were designed for harsh and extreme environments must conform to industry and military standards such as International Electrotechnical Commission’s Ingress Protection (IP) rating system and MIL-STD-810. Sysgration has many years of experience in designing a Rugged Tablet PC that can withstand a harsh environment and achieved standard or higher IP and MIL-STD-810 ratings depending on the industry.
Our expert engineer provides leading-edge technologies and know-how to provide rugged design including double injection and insert molding process to achieve IP Protection, strengthen pogo pin design to support the tablet withstand the shock and vibration when the tablet mounted on the vehicle docking during forklift and off-road applications. An O-Ring seal around the perimeter and securely tighten in between two halves gives this tablet protection against water.
To verify the Rugged design experienced, Sysgration team will conduct the MIL-STD test either using 3rd party or our own qualified laboratory. Ruggedness and durability testing equipment as following are subject rugged tablet pc to the harsh environment.
